I recently installed a mod chip with pin setter, the soldering went fine and after I finished, it was booting fine in both mod mode, and non mod mode. I attempted to install executer bios but the cd did not work properly, it simply said ...'waiting for disk'...I turned off the xbox and was going to attempt to flash the bios via http and the cd drive would not open. In both modes (mod and non mod the xbox turns off and on three times and then boots up with no output and the led surrounding the eject button glowing red and green.
I am have version 1.0 and xcecuter 3 ce. The soldering went fine and it was working fine. What happened? Is there any way to reset the bios to Flashbios 3.01

Try the backup bios, press power+eject and it should get you back to FlashBIOS 3.0.1
You might want to try using other discs such as CD-RW and DVD-R as well as brands that have been tested to work well.
CD-R don't read well in alot of drives. Check what your drive is... and what it can read properly.

Any other suggestions?

power+eject boots to the backup bios which is FlashBIOS 3.0.1. The X logo should turn purple.

Switch settings probably best at (on on off off) and Flash Protect off for flashing. (off on off off) is fine too.
