BENQ problems with firmware

I'm having a problem with my VAD6038. I tried to reflash it with LT 0880 v3 but I get this error message after it reads drive

It has this firmware on it now

Firmware Osig: [PBDS VAD6038-64930C ]
Spoofed As: [PLDS DG-16D2S 7485]
Firmware is: iXtreme v1.60-12x-FINAL-VAD6038

Is there a way to fix it? Also I have an extra slim drive DG-16D4S with FW Ver 0225. Is there a way to use it just to copy games? Im using a CK3 mini and a X360 USB Pro V5

You need to put the benq 0800 v3 fw on it dude, sounds like its spoofed as a liteon, did you put the liteon 0800 v3 on by mistake?

I might have about a year ago. After it reads drive you can open up target file and spoof it but then J/F wont let me write it to it because of string error.

To answer your question on ripping with a slim drive. At the moment you cannot do so. Only benq or your phat liteon drive. The guy above me seems correct on that you spoofed it as a liteon.

All you need to do is write the 0800 benq firmware to the drive, and you don't need to spoof anything. Make sure you have net framework 2.0 at least, the I don't get any such errors as this with net framework installed correctly.

like prankster says, any sort of JF crash issues will be due to a .NET framework issue

make sure you are using the newest JF (1.92)

other than that, you can definitely use your x360usb pro v2 to rip using the 0225 on whatever fw

there is no need for 0800 fw with the v2 (post 13141 stock and 3.0 work great)

but i'm sure you dont' want your benq stuck on ixtreme 1.6, so i'd advise getting your .NET issue figured out

Don't think he's using a slim drive, hope that has been established. Weird that jungleflasher won't let you write to it now that's its spoofed. Good Luck!
