Problems with flash drive!

Hello, I am trying to make my flash drive bootable but it keeps giving me an error. Please help!

Maybe the drive you have cant be made bootable. And if it gives you an error can you tell us what it is.

It reads off an error that says

The drive is not ready for use; its door may be open. Please check drive and make sure that a disk is inserted and that the drive door is closed.

So i click cancel then it says


The file does not contain a recognized file system.
Please make sure that all required file system drivers are loaded and that the file is not corrupt.

Then I hit Ok. After that it goes bck to XBM 5.3 (RC 1)

It says the same with me m8, If u just click on continue or ok. It takes you back to xbm and gives u a message saying its ready for use or somehting. It still works

One suggestions.

Exit the boot maker applications and in "My Computer" right click the drive and format it with the FAT file system.

Then run the boot maker again making sure you select the correct drive letter and clicking the format button.

Worse case, try a different USB stick. They are a dime a dozen now a-days.
