Problems with FlashBIOS 3.0.1

It can't detect my DVD and HDD drives!!

I know I need to use FlashBIOS 3.0.3 and that is on banks 5-8. (I have Xecuter 3 CE and xbox ver 1.0)

That is off, on, off, off, off correct? Then do I need to hit the power and eject buttons to get into the 3.0.3 version?

I only seem to get 3.0.1

To boot from a chosen bank:

1. Set switches accordingly.
2. Quick press the power button to boot from the chosen bank.

To boot the backup BIOS:
1. Press power and eject together. This is irrespective of what switches you have set.

If you have a 1.0, why are you so concerned in getting 3.0.3?

flashbios 3.0.1 works on v1.0 to v1.6 xbox but not v1.6b xboxs

The reason why I wanted to get 3.03 because 3.01 can't find my DVD or HDD drives.

Here is the situation...

I did have a 1.6 mobo in my Xbox and used a solderless adapter to install the X3CE mod. Everything seemed (my drives were found and loaded BIOS (version 1.6) via CD drive) but my D0 point was messed up and it wouldn't load the new Xecuter Bios.

I put an old 1.0 motherboard in a re soldered everything works fine. I can even get the 1.6 Xecuter BIOS to come up but with no video. I'm guessing because the bios I orginally loaded was for the 1.6 motherboard. So, I try to load the Xecuter BIOS for versions 1.0-1.5 but FlashBIOS 3.01 can't see my DVD/HDD drives now.

I fixed the problem. I was able to flash via FTP connection. Works fine now!

I also have a problem I have a 2.6 chip and a version 1.0 xbox. I have installed it fine. but it does not detect one of the drives so if I try to flash via CD ( i can't FTP) it just pops the disk back out and says waiting for drive please help me.

dont use cd-r use cd-rw or dvd-r
what happens when you push tray back in
