hi all i've an old phat xbox xenon mb on dash 7357.0

i have tx nand-x v3 & have soldered all qsb on to the mb (nand & jtag qsb) i'm not to sure if i should have just done the nand b4 in stalling the jtag qsb.

because when i run coolshrimps jtag tool i keep getting the message i've posted in pic.

do i need to desolder the jtag qsb then read & write nand to xbox first or can i still read & write nand with the jtag qsb allready installed

seems to be a jtag tool error missing version.txt try using nandpro to dump your nand see if it works that way.go to your nandpro folder then hold down shift then right click anywhere in that folder and select open command prompt here. then copy and past the following command into the dos window

nandpro usb: -r16 nand1.bin
nandpro usb: -r16 nand2.bin
nandpro usb: -r16 nand3.bin
nandpro usb: -r16 nand4.bin

you will end up with 4 nand dumps now compare your nand dumps to see if they match :)

Please tell me why you took a PHOTO of your screen? Have you never heard of PRINTSCREEN??

FAIL.

The error says - Access is Denied. You need to run the Tool as Administrator.

OP - I suggest you stop with command line stuff and use JTAG Tool.

---------- Post added at 16:41 ---------- Previous post was at 16:39 ----------

Removed links - OP, get JTAG Tool working as instructed. Right click and run as Administrator.

This is the point where you STOP and read on what to do next. JTAG Tool is possibly the easiest thing to use for this.

No spoonfeeding here, as the Tool already does that for you.

Your post is very worrying i think while your xbox is still working you should stop. Take a time out and do some research alot then when you feel your ready to proceed stop and re-read everything then proceed with caution remember slow and steady wins the race and when jtagging the only prize for second place is an over priced paper weight lol

the soldering is perfect martin c & i've been reading about how to jtag for a good few months.
but with so many tutorials about on different forums it gets abit confusing.
well i'm glad i done it on an old phat because i did buy all parts to do my slim but the nand-x kit i got came with phat qsb.

so no martin c i did'nt just jump into it with out researching gettting cpu key is where i became stumped.

now i cant find anything anywhere where i can advise to get my cpu key with an unjtagged box
