I just installed a Xecuter 2.6 CE with a soderless adaptor. When I turn on my xbox the blue led lights up on the chip as well as all the leds on the switch. I was told that the wire going to the D0 was most likely the problem but I have checked it a 100 times and it seem to be firmly in place. My xbox is a 1.0 and has sodered holes in the LPC, could this be the problem? I have been fighting with this for over a week and at this point I am considering a wire install. Any help or suggestion wouyld be great:)

The D0 is what tells the Xbox to boot from the chip, and not the onboard TSOP. What happens when you boot with the chip turned on? If you can solder, or know someone that can, get that done.

Thanks
I think I will try to soder setup. Any ideas why the D0 wont work could it be dead on the board or is the one under the mother board just easier to do?

Did you desolder the LPC holes?

On a 1.0 a soldered wire install is easy :]
