JTAG problems with updating jtag

So let me try explaining this the best i can. I just bought this and it is jtag and is on a older dash board so i would like to update to the newest dash 13604?

So i used flash360 and pulled my nand off of it but it had a bad block? Can this be fixed

I then tried following the tutorial for using the jtag tool coolshrimp 4.25?

Punch in

USB-Xenon-"My CPU KEY"

Original SMC Points-13604-Xelllous

Then click create free boot but comes up with an error of

crl data appears to be crypted or damaged!

So i obvoiusly dont want to flash that to the xbox with all the errors im getting.


Any ideas where to start with everything?

Just tried booting with eject button and it worked this time so i do have the correct CPU key.

use multi_builder 0.7. Create the nandflash.bin and post the log.

Ok i downloaded the tool. Ran it

picked xenon

Jtag hack

build image with dash launch DEFAULT

Builds JTAG image

pressed enter

Recommends using rawflash v3

What log do i post?

the nandflash.bin.log?

yep, looks all good from here. Copy the nandflash.bin and xenon.elf to a USB stick, boot from eject (to go into XeLL) and it will update the console.

Copied the nandflash.bin and the xenon.elf and booted with eject. It didnt seem to do much? what should i have expected from this?

started the xbox with eject button and its says
"waiting for usb...
USB: new device connected to bus 1 hub 1 port1
USB bus 1 device 2: vendor 045e product 0291 class ff: not found.

!Optical media not present, 0 seconds before continuing"

Yes - the files must be on the root and the USB stick must be FAT32 formatted. Make sure the USB stick is inserted before you plug in the PSU.

that did the trick i had to discount the power supply , plug in usb, and its working as i type.
