problems with x2.6

I tried to install this mod using the solderless adapter and I can't get the leds on and the xbox is booting in normal mode.
I've tried putting little pressure on the chip,aligning the solderless adapter and can't get anything.
should I try soldering?.........but before that,can somebody give me any ideas of how to make it work?

I have seen where on the 1.0 you may need to clean the top of the lpc for the solderless adapter to make good contact. So, you may want to take a qtip and a bit of alcohol and get the points nice and clean, that or some other cleaner of your choice, but water is NEVER a good idea around electrical parts. Hope it helps you out.

I also heard a bit of nail polish remover helps too. I don't know though never tried it myself. Rubbing alcohol should work fine though.
