We have a modified Xbox with the Xecuter BIOS v 3.x - we have had this happen twice now where some bonehead will try to access XBOX Live, and it seems to blow out the BIOS settings.
At any rate, when we re-boot the xbox, we have lost the menu (dashboard?) that usually comes up and and we get the standard microsoft Xbox menu in stead.
Does anyone know anything about going to Xbox live screwing up the load of the software off teh hard drive and /or BIOS, and causing the default MS sysetm to load?
If so, is there an easier way to fix this mess than stripping the whole thing down and reloading everything, starting with flashing the BIOS, then re-loading all of the software on the hard drive?
Thanks very much for your help!!
