Hi all

I am having some problems with my XGD3 burns and suspect the rips are the root cause.

I have GOW3 and Forza 4, trying to back them up. I personally have a Phat Lite-On on LT 2.0. The originals run fine however the burns I have made, despite passing verify and K-probe tests, won't run - I get "Unsupported disc" error back.

Tried best burns on my mates Benq on LT 2.0 and get the same result.

Tried best and worst burns on my other mates Samsung LT 2.01 and they run fine.

The conclusion I have reached then is that my rips are bad and either failing AP2.5 or the XGD3 check which I assume the Samsung can't perform and just runs the disc no matter what.

Any help much appreciated. Not sure how to sort it.

Oh and rips were made using a Benq on 0800 v3 with XBC 2.9.0.345. [strike that - sorry didn't realise what I was asking for]

"Oh and rips were made using a Benq on 0800 v3 with XBC 2.9.0.345. Don't have a DAE.bin within the directory though, where can I get one?"

There's the problem. Without dae.bin you won't create a valid rip with AP2.5 checks. They work on the Samsung since there are no AP2.5 checks with those.

Check the guide for XBC - it'll advise you where to get the copy from your console.

I'm starting to receive the same error.

My original MW3 works fine but the backup just started giving the "Unsupported Disc" error. It was working just fine yesterday.

Like Martin said.. you need you the dae.bin for your rips to work.
The dae.bin are the same for 13599 and 13604 so i'm pretty sure that's not the issue

This is occurring with my slim 360, unlocked PCB, LT 2.0 and using burner max.

GuitarJimbo post a copy of your XBC log so we can see it so we can see how you're ripping your disc.

Are you guys that are having problems using the LT Max Burning firmware with a compatible LiteOn iHasxxxx drive? I've had absolutely zero errors with any of my xgd3 backups ripped from 0800 liteon and burnt with LT Max liteon.

Yes, iHAS124

Backups were working just fine yesterday. Now they aren't. Not all XGD3 titles are acting funky yet, just my MW3 and Halo Combat Evolved anniversary. Saints Row The Third is working just fine for now. Those are all i've checked so far.

Backups pass Krpobe & Nero CD Speed disc quality tests.

Black Ops also isn't working. So the issue isn't an XGD3 one but most likely an AP issue.

Not entirely sure why someone would work one day and not work the next. I'm practically sure it isn't a disc issue. I've had no problems up until now.

Your problem sounds like a different problem, I'd recommend making a new topic about this. If not your problem might not get fixed because the OP's case is different than your own. :rolleyes2:

I'm pretty sure you have no idea what you're talking about. These problems are synonymous.
