Problems writing firmware from CD method

I have this problem and Textbook found a fix:

But, I made a new 100mb partition and when I boot up using NTFS4DOS CD, it doesn't detect my new F drive for some reason and just lists the C drive. I typed F: in the command line but it still didn't detect it. How do I make my new partition detectable using NTFS4DOS CD? Thanks.

I'm trying to do the same thing as you, I can't get it to detect.

Aight I found a fix....I had to use partition magic to make my main (C) drive smaller to about 30 gigs...after I successfully flashed my dvd drive, its easy to make the C drive it's original size using partition magic.

I just resized one of my main drives and got it under 30GB, but now when I goto flash, I'll select the XTREME Pri master when I goto dump, and it won't do anything, if I break it, it'll create the hacked.bin file, but not orig.bin.

Well, I finally got it all done. But when I went and tried to use my backup of Forza, the dashboard just said it was a Mixed Media Disc. Guess I just burnt it wrong.
