Probs with xecuter2.6 on xbox v1.6 HELP

Just fitted Solderless version (xapter) Xecuter 2.6 on an Xbox v1.6, all went well but only getting chip working intermittantly, tightem screws on DVD and chip fails, loosen screws and chip comes back up. bad connection somewhere? yes I agree, I am a Computer Engineer so v competant at this type of thing. Problem is now after re tracing my steps will not work at all. Xbox now flashes constantly. Please please help. So gutted, been dying to get this chip and now it wont work, what have I done wrong?

Before it sounds like the chip may not have been completely seated on the adaptor, and when you put the DVD drive in, it pressed on the chip enough to break the contact it once had.

What happens with the chip turned off?
