Not sure where to ask this as it's not really about a TX product per se so I figure The Noob Room is probably my best bet.
I have a Trinity Xbox with a CR4 and Demon installed which works perfectly, I have FSD3 and Aurora installed and working nicely however I'm not sure about a few things that I would like to check up on before taking any risks. I'm hoping one of the extremely knowledgable people on here might have an answer for me.
I've ripped my retail disks to an external HDD connected to the Xbox using FSD3 which works great (was really pleased to find this functionality as it means I don't need to find an X360USB Pro V2 quite as quickly as I thought, though I still want one to make backup ISO's of my discs), however on a few of my games I'm quite a long way in and also have some DLC's added to them (Fable II, The Force Unleashed and the like). My question is if I use my main profile (Live enabled but not set to login automatically) whilst on the glitched image will I still be able to use my save games and DLC's as usual or will that flag me to be banned if I then use that profile to go online whilst on the Retail Nand if I want to play against my brother on Live?
I know that I can create another non Live enabled profile and there are programs out there that can transfer game saves between profiles with the downside being you lose any achievements, hence I would rather not do that if I don't have to.
I suppose the other option if it's not safe to use my normal profile whilst online would be to create a new Live profile for the rare occasions when I do want to use Live?
I can post pictures of my retail discs with my Forum name and todays date on if anybody wants proof but I can't post XBC logs as I didn't use that to rip the discs to the HDD.
Thanks,
Llarrinye
