It makes sense to release the newer drives first. Most of the Hitachi and Samsung out there would be flagged already i think as they would have used previous versions of iXtreme.

Liteon and BenQ were the last drives released and more likely to be 'virgin' machines. I just got RROD again and got a refurbed machine back from MS. Thankfully it had a Liteon 8xxx v1 - LT up and running smoothly
