Proud new owner of a 360

This isnt a thread for help or the such just one question.

Is the softmod safe? Ive read a few tutorials and seems terribly complicated.

I successfully modded my psp and that was alot easier.

My only hinderence at the moment is i need a pci/sata card to do everything, but i dont wanna fry my $600 investement (that includes games controllers etc...)

so any info would be greatly appreciated.

You will find peeps saying it's easy but remember it's only easy when you know how lol.

You will need to know about a pc aswell as knowing what your doing with the 360 i took a good 2 months reading stuff before i did it lol and that was over 12 months ago.

Well if you have ever Flashed a BIOS then you should not really come across too many problems if you have any worries voice them and i'll try and answer them

I had more trouble opening my 360 then I did flashing it - and that was back when there were no automated programs. Just MTKFlash, a hexeditor, and the firmware. Everything was done manually. Now it's much easier for those looking to flash their 360's.
