Not sure if this is the right place to ask but I found a headset for the PS2 at a local retail store. Only thing i can tell about it is it 's a USB set and has socom advertised on the package. What i'm wondering is can I use it with my modded Xbox? I have 2 usb ports on it, which i've added.. WOuld it work like the regular xbox headset or not?

I don't know what the puck is either...

But, I think it might come down to a "driver" issue... as in whether or not the xbox will reconize the PS2 headset.

So really the only devices that you wouldnt have problems with are a MS mouse and keyboard? And once we get more info about what a puck is, can we also get a tutorial (if possible) of how to do this.

I just think that the bios or the dash or whatever needs to have the ablility to "find" that hardware... I think that a headset and mike aren't standard drivers... I really don't know what the bios or dash is set up to find...

But yeah, that puck thing... we'll wait for that. :)

Take a real close look at your motherboard. See the chip that is directly to the right and up a bit from the LPC?

That is not the Puck. However, if you follow the trace leading off pin 5 of that chip it will lead to a resister, that is also not the puck, but i'm sure it has something to do with it... ;)

Seriously, who the hell heard of a puck!
