I have a DS as well. The only reason I bought it is for the Zelda that will come out for it one day. I love those games.

You'll laugh at me too. I bought a PSP for myself about a month ago. Then as a B-Day present my mom bought me one as well. Now I have 2 but no games for them yet. None of the games out right now look good to me. I like it for the music/movies part.

Well, I searched a bit and remembered there was a thread on PSP hacking, but I don't know if what I am looking for would be considered a hack. I'm picking up a PSP in about 2-3 weeks and I think I heard some where that someone has or will make/made Emulators for the PSP. Tell me if I'm wrong, but I just can't remember. If I got a PSP and can't get games, I don't want to be stuck with an Mp3 Player and Portable Movie Player, so are Emu's in development or are they already there?

There is a Gameboy color and SNES emulator that uses the JAP 1.0 bios exploit. But all USA PSPs came with 1.5 bios installed so there is no way to run the emu's on the US psp.

I installed a Japanese motherboard in mine, cheaper than buying a japanese one on ebay at this point. The NES emulator is very close to being perfect, snes is a ways away; It crashes, at about 50% speed and super mario world crashes very often.

But its good start. Glad to have Xecuter on the case of hte psp :D

Well, actually, if you think about it....someone will find a way, reguardless of the Board Version. There has to be someone who would be able to produce Homebrew apps to work with the U.S. PSP.

llama.com should have them. They are around 150 USD if I'm not mistaken.
