While trying to read my nand with a nand-x using Jtag Tool i got error "looking for usb interface cant continue" and i noticed that the psu light went red. I searched my console for a short or a bridged connection but found nothing so i removed all my solders to see if i could get the console to start but as soon as i plug the power plug into the console i get the red light.

Any help would be appreciated.

...... not just closer but bigger. These are 213px × 159px they need to be at least twice that size. What are you using to take the pics?

You have to have a short somewhere but unfortunately I can't make out your work on the stby_clk or the cpu_pll_bypass. All I can suggest is to use a multimeter and check for bridging around your connections or pull the wires off and see if it will boot.

Without good/clear pictures, it's hard to tell. :(

kk thanks is it possible thank i could have blown the 5v mosfet? i dont think so because i powered it on before i started soldering and it worked and i havnt been able to since. so i think it would have to be turned on to blow the mosfet. Just wondering if you agree?

I don't see how but I'm not qualified to answer that for sure. That would be up to Martin C or someone else.

It's most likely your soldering that is causing the issue.

i passed over my CPL_PLL_BYPASS and i found that it is shorting out with one of the solder joints right beside do you think that could cause the red light?

Not for nothing, did you unplug the psu from the wall to reset it. If so, I would desolder one wire at a time and try powering it on each time till you isolate it. If it still reds on you after all the wires are gone then you bridged something else, check all points for even the most smallest possible bridge.
