PSU Shock: How it feels

Incase anyone wanted to know how it feels to get shocked by an XBOX PSU:
It feels like if you touch an EMS (Electronic Muscle Stimulation) Pad with your fingers. Except that's 9V and XBOX PSU is 12V, so the PSU is a lot stonger when you touch it. Yeah I forgot that I had the PSU plugged into the wall and touched it. Ow! I won't do that again. Anyone else been shocked by an XBOX PSU?

I got my little brother to touch it we had the XBOX open and he flipped out hes 13 he had his hand on it for like 4 seconds

Everyone just calm down man, it's cool in a way that we been shocked 'cos now we don't have to fear it anymore, we know what it's like and we can say that we have done "Everything" as modders. Great for if you applying for a job at a modding shop maybe. I want to do that soon as thanks to MartinC's soldering videos, I can solder perfectly now in record time too, now the little D0 point is EASY! I can't wait to get chipping XBOX2 as well cos if I make £30 profit on each install and I ghave 100 installs, I will have made £3000!

I think xCRAZYmike has a few anger issues to work out first. Nobody was mad or anything... he just flipped out. I imagine he can't be much older then 13 himself...

Freak was just making a funny (in a toungue in cheek manner), by stating the obvious. Kinda like saying, "You know, you shouldn't fry bacon without a shirt on... it hurts." (Heh... I've done that one before... learned quickly).

only xbox I ever wrecked, I dropped a HDD on the PSU and made a tremendous spark, it was awesome, blew out my circuit breaker and everything, fried the PSU Sorry if I seem sadistic, as long as it all turns out well int eh end (which it did, thank god for my l33t fixing skills and tons of extra parts) I'm amused by almost anything.

Heh, accidentially touched the damn PSU a few minutes ago, i had 2 open xboxes and got confused with which one was plugged in

Worse than that though, someone I know had some lovely 20kV from an old CRT monitor surge through him.

Got a nice zap from it a few months ago when I accidentally brushed my hand against it.

Want a good Zap, touch a automotive ignition coil while the car is running. Now that will knock you on your ass I touched a Accell Super Coil while it was running and it was raining out to adjust the engine timing. That's a shock you will never forget and try avoiding in the future

V8 Accell Super Coil=45,000 volts
