Up in Canada I had my first experence with on of those fences, I was next to a body of water and grab one of the wires not knowing what it was. They suck, I see why the cows do not go near them.

i've only ever been shocked by the screws on the lightswitch when my hand was wet

why they don't insulate them anyway i don't know
