Real quick overview here. FRAG Xbox, never opened, never modded. Ver 1.4. After alot of searching and asking questions at various sites, decided to get a chip, the Xecutor 3 CE. Installed today, still same problem, FRAG. Yes solder locations are fine, have checked and rechecked. Anyhow, now leads me to believe possible Power Supply Unit(PSU) problem, or another option I have read on was a timing crystal(little shiny silver pill looking thing, above the LPC a little bit). Anyhow, the PSU is a Delta Electronics. How can I check the PSU to see if it is indeed not functioning correctly (ie. - specific voltages it should put out). Also, the above mentioned timing crystal, anyone know what that is, and if indeed if it gets bad, will it cause FRAG?? Any specific voltage or resistance or ohms or anything to check it??? Thanks for any help anyone can provide.
