it was on 4XXX i updated it last year or maybe 2 years ago because i was going to use it for netflix, but then i scrapped that idea because the xbox netflix interface is lame.its not just you m8 i have have been trying for a week now to get a Xenon to glitch and it dont want to know can i ask a question what dash is your xbox on
Probably not since the ecc it makes has nothing of the dash in it afaik, its a patched smc, the bootloader and xell and the smc has always been the same.14599 .i see a lot of people that say that thay have had success was also saying that thay pulled it out of the cupboard after two years so was wondering dose the dash updates have anything to do with it
It was a typo, they were in fact pF sorry bout thathi buddy just wanted to make sure but in your fisrt post you say your using/tried the 220nf 270nf capacitors is that right?? are you sure ??there ment to be pf (picofarads) not nf (nanofarads) just wanted to make sure can you cofirm?
so you use the 68nf cap instead of the 47nf, and no other caps at all ?...i also had the 68 nf cap in place and used a rev A coolrunner...
...i had at first had the other 220 and 270pf caps added too on other attempts but imo those actually stopped mine from booting even when left on 24hrs for each, took them off and booted first attempt just slowly...
I'll have to give that a shot tonight... I wired mine up all special and all (will take a pic, quite proud of my CR setup) with an SMD 47nf cap and the 220pf bent so it wasn't shorting on anything. lol.yep just 68 and nothing else, never even got round to trying the 47. another thing i noticed is i was offered by jrunner when building the ecc to use the alternative 4xxx bootloader over the 1xxx and it would only try to glitch with the alternative but never with the normal one.
hence the words "repair method at best"I have not had a single bad CR yet, and ive done quite a few installs. I suspected maybe my cool runner was bad as well, but it wasnt I just threw it in a trinity today and im gettting 5-15 second boots like clock work on it.
Its the xenons, they are hell. Ubergeek said they sucked the wang of death to glitch and its the truth lol
It looks like we need to get the most perfect wiring we can to get these things to respond to the glitching at all.
