Purchase of R-JTAG starter kit for dashboard 2.0.16547.0?

Hello guys,

Around 10 years ago, i had an original xbox running xbmc and i thought it was the best. Playing old snes and atari emus and putting movies on it etc. I'd like to have something like that on my 360. i liked the F3 style and i read an RJTAG is the best way to get that done with my current 360.

I have a Falcon 360 with a lite on dvd drive. I was wondering if i should get the R JTAG or something else, and is it possible to use this granted i have current dashboard of 2.0.16547.0 .
