Purpose of Eject/power board?

What is the exact purpose of the Eject/power board? Besides turning your xbox on/off and ejecting disc....

Its for ease of use....

It allows you to control the power on state of the x3...
As u know it can be disabled, enabled or booted to backup bios all by using the front panel pwr and reset buttons...
a x2.6 needs a seperate installed switch to disable it.
