considering you have RGH, you can put pretty much any slim drive in it, just use dummy.bin you have and you are rady to go... load dumy.bin as source and select lt+ 3.0 fw for it or another one, before you write the fw you enter vendor mode and ERASE the board, after that write the new fw and you are set to go. I even did this several times on non RGH consoles, boards for liteons are same for every one, only difference is the fw...

Finally I got it to restore. And authorize. Thanks a bunch for all the help. I'll let you guys know how it works out

Since it was a 9504 I thought I had to manually spoof my dummy on to the 0272 FW. Thanks for the sarcasm, always get a healthy dose of it when I ask a question over here.

for future reference, you always use the fw of the drive that was originally in the xbox

you don't use the fw type the original drive is
