Hi Martin thank for the info, unfortunatly it still giving me the error looking for usb interface device can not continue, ive tried to resting the nand x, same problem, ive tried to reinstall v3 code but getting the autobaud error even though its the correct cable, Im totally lost

I put the image 00000000.ecc onto the nand earlier today but the xbox wouldnt boot up, no green light on the coolrunner just the red led, checked the solder points and seems ok, so to check the xbox was still working unsoldered everything but the qsb, looked into why the xbox wouldnt power on and found the thread with the bad nand flash hence im trying to go back to stock, to see if the box still works or not. i havent tried shorting the pin on the nand, will look into it and get back to you.

I used ggbuild and i used the +w16 image_00000000.ecc as per the video tutorial However did have to squint a bit to see the nandpro usb commmand, ive also tried shorting pins 44-47 and also tried the 5v trick to no avail so i think i may have bridged/shorted something along the way (my hands arent as steady as they used to be.
To rule out a problem with the nandx i solderd the points to do another box i have and dumped the nand ok so i think ill just leave the old board for spares as it was from a RRoD xbox i repaired anyway so no great loss.
Thanks a lot for your help, need to find a cheap banned xbox so i can try again.
