Putting old 120GB into mine new XBOX with X3

Hello,

I will be receiving a new XBOX with a Xecuter 3 in it soon. The reason why i had to buy this new xbox, is because the old one didn't boot anymore. Now i want to put the old LOCKED HDD 120GB into the new one. The problem that I don't have HDD, but i have a copy of the EEPROM.bin file.
What is the easiest way to get mine old HDD to work in the new XBOX?

It will boot up in the normal MS Dashboard, we have tried everything to repair it.

So how's it broken? If it boots to MS Dash then there's nothing wrong with it. Maybe if you explain further...

If you could get your X3 to boot to FlashBIOS in it, then attach your HDD in your old Xbox and select 'unlock HDD' from the menu.

You'll then be free to use the 120GB HDD in whatever Xbox you want as long as it's modded. Nothing stops you from locking it again once it's in your new one.
