Hi all hope i find you all well?

As i have a couple of issues thought i would post here....hope u all don't mind.

I had a bit of a bizarre night last night with my mates xbox (which i chipped for him) so perhaps you can shed some light from my experience.......

1st up, It did not matter how hard i tried i cannot get a backup of Psychonaut to work. I have very good experience of backing up all my games but this one of his is driving me mad.

Running a X2.6ce, 4983bios with Evox dash. uk xbox.

Now i have read hundreads of posts many blaming the following points evox, pal, ntsc, patching etc I have tried everything:

Dumped Evox....nothing
Changed Pal and NTSC settings.......Nothing
patched....nothing

It trys to run (screen goes black) and eventually gives up and goes back to the dash.

I must of missed something....please someone help

2nd thing, when i was rebooting my mates xbox it would occaisionally come up with the Flashbios screen as if it was switching over to bank 2 automatically.
Now i definately did not flip the switch coz i turned it straight off and back on again in panic and it booted up normally, to which my mate confirmed it done that all the time!!!!. Now have i unwittingly uncovered a function to switch banks with flipping the switch or is this some kind of bug?

As ever your help is greatly appreciated.

Did you get the small CD Rip of Psychonauts?

That might be why.

The DVD one was just reposted

If using EvoX Change the video region setting to normal instead of PAL or NTSC or any of the other settings... See if that works. About the auto bank switching, it seems that somethimes when on bank one on X2.3's and 2.6's when pressing reboot in the dash it reboots to bank 2. My solution, use FlashX to flash your favorite bios to bank 2, and an emergancy bios or your second favorite bios to bank 1. That way you run your xbox on bank 2 all the time and you won't have that problem anymore.
