I've been trying to figure this out by reading other posts, but they simply confused the heck out of me.
Here is where I'm at:
Chip is fully installed and working
Since I have a 1.6b, I booted with bank 2 on.
I flashed bank 1 via network with "x2_5035_v16plus_512k.bin"
I reboot xbox and see x2 config live bla bla bla... and then get M$ dashboard.
Is there a way t get into the config live like on the X3? I'm guessing no, right?
What is my next step? I have the original 10GB drive in it and will not be upgrading it (btw, this xbox is my friends xbox).
I want to be able to gain access to the hdd via network so I can FTP the hdd data to my PC. I always make a back up of the drive before doing anything else! I preffer using XBMC as a dashboard and want to put it on the hdd.
