my slim, cr3 lite RGH, worked fine for a few months about a year ago, it has never been online and i haven't played or touched it since. went to turn it on yesterday and i end up in an almost endless loop of glitch... i have indicator lights on the front, and its all closed up, and like i said it hasn't been on for about a year, but worked just fine before. the glitch lights blink every few seconds, then it glitches and the ring of lights chase each other around the ring, the green xbox swirl on the screen starts, then goes black as the glitch indicator lights just continue on to blink as it is glitching again. then it repeats... then it repeats... then it repeats... i left it on all night doing that and woke up to no more blinking but a black screen so i unplugged power, plugged it right back in, hit power and within 30 seconds it booted to FSD just fine. had to reboot to install my kinect and back in the loop again. any ideas?

Could you fix the problem based on what you've said? Or would you need more detailed information?

Bearing in mind this is a TX product support forum, is there sufficient evidence that it's an issue with a TX product or process?

You have to be practical when asking for help. It's a practical process, after all. Please help us to help you.

no, no, i got ya, i understand, my only point was i was just inquiring for simple diagnosis in the hopes someone had come across the same problem, being simple, and i wouldn't have to go through taking my box apart again since i have all the tools stored away. i agree qith the template, and the rules for the reasons you explained, i did automotive electrical troubleshooting for a few years, and totally understand. i've just been sick and way less free time than normal to respond here lately, so sorry for dragging it out. you can close this out though, i finally got to where i could take it apart yesterday and it was a loose ground that became almost "wiggled" and broken off from plugging in and out the video connect so many times. i moved the ground down the shielding to the mainboard intersect, instead of on top of the shielding, and it works like new :) again, sorry for the time waster but thx for it anyway lol.
