Query about my SATA Card

Hi, I have just bought the VIA 6421A SATA Card, however my motherboard had a built in sata chipset (non-compatible), does this mean i should disable the onboard sata via BIOS???

As long as you select the correct sata controller on extreme boot maker, i dont think you will have any problems.
