Querys on X3

[Terminator T105]

I have been looking the past coupleof days have found the X3 chips is far better than any other.

So i was going to order this chip. Then i found X3CP Xecuter 3 CE Combo.

So i was wondering as i cant seen to find to much on this chip if.

1. If XAPT3R is still the correct kit for a solder free fit.

2. Can it be switched off for Live?

3. Whats the difference between it and the X3 chip? (Guessing a lot as i read it is said to be considered a 5th generation chip.

the X3CE is the same as the X3(normal) the CE just had some minor hardware changes made to it but installs and runs the same
The control panel is cool to it just makes the Xbox prettier to look at as you do not use the "stick on switch" wich comes the X3package and the X3cp also has the spot for the LCD so you don't need to cut up the original
as far as the Xapt3r solderless goes you can use for any Xbox (NOT V1.6 & V1.6B) So if your box is older than this go for it
BUT as you may?should know by now the pin header instal is "MOST RECOMENDED" not only by most people on the forums but by Xecuter himself

well thanks for the help guys. Just a couple more questions please.

1. I am wanting to buy the X3CP Xecuter 3 CE Combo but an confused to if i will also need to get the XAPT3R as i want to do the solderless option?

2. If i do need the xapt3r and i have a version 1.6 what is the alternate?

no current solderless thingy for 1.6 boxes look like you might want to add an iron to that order.

If you know what you're doing, no. If you don't, grab an old circuit board and try your soldering skills out on that for a bit. Or get someone you know to do it for you.

Yeah get like an old computer pcb or something and just solder as many wires to the small holes as u can
