LITEON DG-16D2S Question about abgx and XGD3 Titles?

Do I need to patch the image file of a XGD3 title using abgx? What are the settings I should use? And I have the Liteon Phat 74850c drive so which LT 2.0 firmware file should I use?

I had the 2.0.12611.0 dashboard, I know that I need to update to the latest one ie 13599. So I just wanted to know that whether I should flash to stock before updating? Or will it be automatically flashed to stock when I update my firmware?

use the correct dae for your dash in abgx and the rest is auto....
as for the fw - always flash to stock before a dash update, then reflash with custom fw - once u update to 13599 then your drive will be an 02510C - so use the LT2.0 for that drive - something like LTPlus-025-v2.bin or somethin

Abgx doesnt support xgd3 yet so cannot confirm settings etc, as for updating to latest dash flash back to stock keep your key handy. Once updated go to cfw again. Use xbox.com, support, software update and will tell you how to update via cd or usb. Or if you have a game with the latest, original, then use that.

At diabolia20 didnt think abgx supported xgd3 yet.......

@Mightyshots - if u have the latest dae and keep it updated, thenit's as good as it gets right now - if the game is ripped correctly using 0800v3 then all the stealth files should be copied correctly, so the OP should be good to go

Thanks! You guys have been very helpful. What about the non XGD3 titles? What abgx settings should I use?

And what file to use for stock firmware? There are four 74850c files. Is there any tutorial? I have the dummy.bin through backup.

you can use the dummy or put all the files into the fw folder - it will auto choose....as for ABGX for all other games just run level 2 - if t fails run level 3 - always autofix....it's a doddle
