GENERAL Question about DLCs

Hey guys.
I've had my Xbox for two years now, it was a gift and I used it mostly to play CoD Zombies, so I spent some money in all of the DLCs from black ops 1 and 2.
I didnt flash it because of that, I wanted to get all the DLC and I didnt want to be banned before getting them (I am a complete noob in this subject), but now I really want to do it, and my real question is, if I flash my Xbox and get banned, do I lose access to DLCs? Ive been searching for an answer to this but couldnt find anything and thats the only thing holding me back from doing it, I would appreciate your help!

my question to you is, why do you want to "flash" your xbox? it doesn't sound like you really understand what possible mods can be done with the system and what different benefits and limitations would come with them. so i'm trying to figure out what you hope to accomplish by doing this, it might not even be worth your trouble.

The answer to your question is, yes. If you get banned from Xbox live, you will lose access to all the dlc you've ever purchased. Microsoft claims DLC can be accessed by other profiles, but only on the console the DLC was originally downloaded to, but this isn't true 100% of the time. I tried to play different zombie maps I previously purchased using a different profile, but unfortunately I had to buy them again.

No not if you transferred your licenses to the xbox. http://forums.xbox.com/xbox_support/f/27/t/46093.aspx Flashing a xbox only allows you to play burned games on duel layer 8gb dvd's. You wont get banned unless you are being stupid like playing games online not realeased yet in your region. RGH/Jtaging an xbox gets you banned instantly if you try to go online but offers allot more like FSD3 and you can store all your game backups on your HDD with 3d cover art ect. you can also play online with other jtages/rgh consoles using LiNK
