It angers me when people do this. I advertise on a shared ad platform similar to craigslist here in the UK and someone else started advertising a few month back. In the ad they put that the newer slims can not be done. I reworded my ad title saying all Slims can be done as well as brought attention to that others are telling lies.
What angers me is that someone may read that advert and believe it and in turn give up looking to get it done. Just because he is not technically capable to offer a full service. Thankfully he has stopped posting as must have realized its not such an easy job as he thought it was. I have seen a few people who come to me to get a BenQ done for example, see how easy it is and buy all the gear to try and start doing it them self but then once they start getting in to problems have to fetch it to me and then give up on their venture.
I am happy to help people along the way but I dont think they should be offering a service without experience.
Anyway if youre in the UK and want it done I would happily do it for you through the post, if youre local to Newcastle you can even drop off. If youre located elsewhere I am sure there is someone who is pro located near you. Post in the request a service forum to find someone.
