I have a v1.4 xbox with a x2.3b pro installed on my xbox. I have been wanting to upgrade to the X3 but i have a question. I did such a good job on the 2.3b pro i was wondering, could i just unplug the x2.3b pro and plug in the X3 using the same wiring harness? I don't want to have to desolder all the wires and then resolder the new wires cause i did it so nice. If its not possible its understandable but if someone could give me the heads up before i purchase it, i would appreciate it.

mmh, i dont think so, since the x2.3 models didnt use the full lpc, and newer ones (x2.6, x3) do...
my guess is yes, you'll have to replace your wiring because it won't have enough wires in the harness
