I'm considering buying a v1.1 since its on sale at xconsoles. Is there any reason to hold off and purchase a v2? (couldn't find a comparison on v1.1 vs v2) Would only be used for 1 install, my 4gb trinity slim when CR4 XL is released.

comparison mainly being i believe the v2 is slightly faster and has rater option which the v1 does not have.
that being said with 4gb console you wont need a jrp but with need a sd type nand read and write pcb, check the link in my sig for a rundown of console suggestions

if it was me i would have some one else to install since u only doing one install il rgh it for 40 plus shipping where u located
I have no problems installing it myself. Just curious about the JR Programmer 1.1 vs 2. Would there be any disadvantages to me opting for a 1.1 now instead of a 2 in the future when i plan to install my RGH?

personally i would say no advantage in the future for the everyday modder as the newest mods available (tx proto v2 and cr4 xl) come preprogrammed and you will realisticly only need the ability to read and write the nand which can be done in a number of ways

i was under the impression that the nand r/w was only for 4gb Corona consoles. is that not the case with my 4gb trinity consoles?

i came upon this thread:
http://team-xecuter.com/forums/showthread.php?t=142513

the 4gb is on board memory and does not affect how the nand is read. Does the JR Programmer still not apply to me even though 16mb nand?
