Question about NERO

Sure it is...

But... windows xp comes with a cd or dvd burner in it's os. It works fine. Just copy files to your CDRW drive and when you close the window it'll ask you if you want to burn.

Honestly, the burner and the media is what makes the difference.

what would you sat the best media is I have read all about the differnt medias oon a thopsan but cnat find one that works for mine what do you use?

CD-R/W not CD-R I use FTP though... it's really easy and free.

does xp have settings like nero, how do y0u burn an iso. I use nero and it works great.

I create my ISO's with xiso... then jsut burn them with XP.

It can just move files and then burn them so... no it's not as versitile as Nero.

I use Alcohol 120 for my ISO needs for the PC. It's a pretty nice app. It makes a virtual drive on your machine that pretty much acts as if you burned the disk. Also with some "ill-gotten" ISO's there are errors when you burn... and you have to buy disks. Alcohol skips burn errors and there's no disks to buy. So I "get" the ISO and open it with Alcohol. I can also create ISO's with it... or .cue and .bin files if I want.

But as far as xbox is conserned xiso is the way to go!

I personally tend to use Qwix to create the xISO, and burn in Nero ...simply going to the "Burn Image" option, finalising the disk as it normally registers as a foreign ISO.
Best media so far, Ritek G04 4X burnt at 2 speed, not had a single bad dirty disk error yet.
