Question About QSB Boards

Hey I was wondering when I install the QSB boards onto my Xbox 360 Falcon Motherboard, can I reuse them on a different console? I plan on beginning my own service locally.

I purchased the Nand-X as well as TX Coolrunner and the Nand X to CoolRunner programming cable.

The Nand-x came with the QSB's but I am about to use them on my own xbox 360 to reset glitch hack it.

Basically my question is if I can reuse the QSB's on different consoles? Because it makes it easier to solder with it there. Thanks.

Answering my question will give you a 'thanks'.

Thanks a lot guys,

Wait, once I solder in the QSB boards, I don't have to solder the wires to it right? I can just connect them through the QSB?

But for the CoolRunner, I have to solder the color coordinated cables to the appropriate spot on the Coolrunner right? Thanks for the help.

Using the CoolRunner QSBs eliminates the need to solder to the actual pads on top of the board, there are pads on the QSBs which are bigger and a 100 times easier to work with but you will of course need to solder the QSB onto the board first.

Wait, I still have to solder the wires into the Coolrunner don't I?

I'm watching this video: [ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OkuhC7exeow"][TUT] Reset Glitch Hack Tutorial (PHAT) - Team-Xecuter Coolrunner Install-Program (Part 1) - YouTube[/ame]

At 12:10, the guy places the CoolRunner ontop of the adhesive. Is that a good tutorial to follow?

You need to solder wires onto the pads on the chip, yes.

That video tutorial is an excellent one to follow, it was made by our very own XJonnyGunsX (thanks buddy!).

Be careful - if you bought a nand-x the qsbs supplied with it are.for.the older JTAG hack, and.are.not suitable for RGH - you will need to buy the relevant RGH qsbs separately. You can remove them.after.but.it can be a bitch and you could easily damage the pads in the process - The qsbs are.cheap enough to not have to.do.this anyway tbh.

Also, since I am following XJonnyGunsX guide, can I just follow his part 1 of the guide and then just use JRunner? Because JTAG Tool is basically gone now.

Also when I have everything in my console ready like the Coolrunner soldered, and the Nand-x connected, can I just use JRunner then? It has 5 options and I just keep clicking them starting from the left to right?

Thanks BL4K3Y
