There is alot of people who only go to the church of verbatium. Truth be told like the last poster is that is is more a matter of the burner being used then it is the disk. I interchange use of verbatium and memorex all the time and I have NO PROPLEMS. I use a curent burner I use updated software,and i have no problems what so ever. I have only ever coastered 3 or 4 disks and every time it was MY OWN FAULT. I personally thinK all the coaster problems you read about have more to do with old equipment and user error more then the disks themselves. Most people just starting out will go buy what ever and not knowing whathey are doing make coasters and the first hing they want to do is blame the disks. so they read up learn what to do then go buy a pack of verbatium and then it works so they are all see it was the disks. but really what it was is no they just learned what to do right by the time they got the verbatium disks. The second thing is I do thing verbatium disks perhaps are less picky about older equipment But i dont know about that. I use a 2 year old burner(no idea what brand) my 360 is original from launch and i use memorex and have not had one single problem. because i know what i am doing. last you will read people say about how other disk brands burn up their 360 lasers??? uh I am not super computer nerd but last i read all cd,dvd formats work the same excat way ,the disks are all manufactured to the same operating spec they have to be or how else are disks interchangable in all players and all work in all players?? they all read the same way. I think what burns their lasers up is a combination of the flashed firmwre and the fact that they play 24/7 as anyone who works on computer equipment knows hardwares lifespam is measured in poweron life cycles..meaning your 360,computer or what ever else only has a life span of so many power on hours till it fails..so the more you use it and it is powered on the faster its gonnna burn out... anyway long and short memorex are justfine
