JUNGLE FLASHER question about the tut

I have heard and been told that all you need to flash a liteon phat is..
*Xecuter CK3 Lite to power/control the DVD drive
*sata cable(I also have the via card)
*CK3 probe 3
*JF
*firmware
without the "Xecuter X360USB Pro"

1. is it possible?
2. where is the guide for without "X360USB Pro"?

I feel bad for even asking mabie I just smoked one to many but I just cant seem to find it. or maybie I have been told the wrong info and have one more dam thing I need to buy to do it.:facepalm:

The X360USB Pro is recommended (the V2 combines both the X360USB Pro and CK3i).

You will also need the Probe 3 to extract the drive key from your drive.

no it is alot more of a headache because I have already spent about 100$ on the probe 3, ck3 lite, via card, sata cable,25 verb DVDR-DL, and shiping.
that would be more money and waiting on shiping

did that followed a well made tut on flashing a liteon phat but kept getting phat key failed. that's why I'm here then found out that timing and other factors matter and there are several different tuts for almost the same drive but they seem to all require the usb pro.

for $100 you could have an x360usb v1 + ck3mini + probe v3 or x360usb v2 + probe v3, shipping included!

x360usb v2 was out of stock at xconsoles, but $79

Just use a sata cable between drive and via card...thats it ffs...usbpro makes it more compatible though
Use the same tutorial.thats the only difference...pretty sure thats in the jf manual that comes with jf...really not that hard
If it was a slim you would need the usbpro

This is the very reason you should read as much as poss before you go and part with your money and still not know what next if you spent that much bud you got done big time the x360usb pro is one of the best modders tools you will ever buy the via card is just old and outdated and will make things harder than it needs to be get JF and open it up there is a tut inside best place to start there is all the things in there you will need to know to get started and anything else just ask on here

ok so first off I got this set up working without the usb pro like 10 min after my last post after being linked to the jf .pdf by Meads1970 ty bro.

second you really dont need the usb pro its very easy to do it without it. I now know why there is no tut on how to do it because they want you to buy there product.

third m hang up was that I just needed to disable the driver of my via card because it was messing it up.
im not gona make a tut on how to do it without one but Ill give you the basics:
(#1,2&3 what usb pro does for you)
#1. you need to disable driver sighing
autentication> cmd(as admin) type: bcdedit /set TESTSIGNING ON
#2. you need dosflash64 and portio64.sys any where on your pc.
#3 disable your via driver so that it works directly with JF: device manager>disable the driver then remove the driver file from system32
#4 do every thing else normally

gz you just saved 48$

ok you forgot the sata cable, dvdr-dl's and the next day air lol
I paid 65$ for the ck3 lite, probe 3, via card, sata cable, 25 verb dvd r-dl, and 35 for next day air.
my customer gave me $30 to flash his and now I have the stuff to flash mine and 25 dvdr-dl disks so I think I am happy not to have tagged another 50$ on that ty thogh

some people are just too cheap to want to own the best in hassle free drive flashing and sounds to me like you are one of those people

I only needed to flash 2 drives its done, really wasnt that hard no reason to buy extra stuff. Idk why your calling me cheep because I payed 100$ to get the job done the next day rather then pay 120 and get the job done in like a week waiting for shipping. and the via card is now being used for a raid card in my server computer so I think I did good no need to sling insults.

I build custom computers, servers, software, and provide tech support im not just a kid in craigslist for xboxes. a friend just asked if I could flash his xbox the day before yesterday I knew nothing about it now I have an extra raid card , flashed xbox, 25 new games, and yes a happy CUSTOMER. lol
