Question about the Tutorial for the MS28.

Hey I came across some confusion while reading one of your guides, here it is:

"“Now unplug the SATA cable and power-cycle the PC and DVD drive
before running SAMHACK 1234567 12345”
So do just that. Unplug the SATA cable from the 360 DVD drive and
power off the Xbox 360.
Flashing The Hacked Firmware
Reboot your PC back into DOS, and power on your Xbox 360. Insert
your bootable floppy/USB /NTFSDOS CD and turn on the computer ,
booting to a command prompt."

The red text is where I have some questions, the first one is: Do I have to remove the power cables of both the 360 and the PC to power-cycle? Because I don't have a red switch on my PC and I'm not sure the 360 has one?

The second text, it says twice to start your computer, I think it's pretty clear why I'm confused about this.

I hope you guys can help me, I'm going to mod my xbox360 this week when I get my VIA Chipset.

I'm confused and I even followed that. I turned my computer on (Xbox off) booted into DOS ran the command did 10 seconds and it started to flash.

I had no problem following when flashing mine for the first time but I think it's just the way it's worded that's throwing you off, I reversed it.

Insert your bootable floppy/USB /NTFSDOS CD and turn on the computer to boot your PC back into DOS, and power on your Xbox 360.

What he means by power cycle is just reboot. You don't have to pull the cables, just turn the 360 off/on with the front switch and reboot your PC when in DOS using Ctrl+Alt+Delete or the reboot button on your PC tower.
