Question After Upgrading Firmware

So i did the offline update to 7.0.1 and everything went through as it should, I followed the tutorial and everything seemed fine. Now it wont turn on, the best ive gotten is it shows the sxos screen and then just goes black again. Any idea what I'm doing wrong here? Thanks in advance.

Do you have autoRCM on?
I don't think this is the issue, but are you using exFAT and did you select exFAT when updating with Choi?

AutoRCM is off. I did select exfat like the tutorial asked to do.

Are you using exFAT? It sounds like something is corrupt. Either the boot.dat file or just corruption on the SD.

I'm able to bring up the SXOS menu now, but if i choose Original FW or Custom, it goes black. I used a new Micro SD also

What FW are you running? Did you try to downgrade when this issue started?

I figured it out, I went to 2.7.1 on sxos and it worked, then I upgraded again to 8.0.1 and all is well. I’m guess I just didn’t have the newest sxos firmware. Thank you for your help.

I was having the same problem, but now I can enter on CFW.
But still got a problem, when I put the jig and inject the payload the CFW opens without entering in SX OS menu, and I can't enable AutoRCM.
Anyone is experiencing the same problem?

did you place 2.7.1 osx on the card? thats what i did and it solved my problem. booted into the 7.0.1. Then i upgraded again to 8.0.1, it wont reboot for me, but i just used the jig and my dongle and it booted the CFW with no problem in 8.0.1

You need to hold Vol+ to get to the bootloader. If you do not it will just boot directly to CFW.

Yes, my SX OS is already on 2.7.1. I'll try to hold the Vol+ after injecting the payload.
