You can't JTAG so Reset glitch your last option

Of course you'll need nand x and coolrunner and solder skill

when you say "you've lost your key' does that mean you have erased it off the drive or just from your PC

If you only intend to recover your Drive Key you need the NAND-X kit and the Coolrunner

However you will need some skills in soldering and an appropriate soldering iron

You will have to solder the NAND-X kit and the Coolrunner into your console, dump the NAND, read it and then remove the kit if you intend to use it again in another console ;)

The coolrunner is only used to 'Glitch' your console which in turn allows you to dump your NAND and if required run 'Unsigned Code' (this is being developed by a n other) :cool2:

Look through the NAND-X/JTAG section of the 'Forums' to get an idea of what you will have to do to achieve this. There are lots of clear pictures in the guides which show you exactly what to do

No offence but it is NOT for NOOBS please familiarise yourself before even contemplating doing this. It may be worth asking a Pro to do this for you as they should already have the NAND-X kit :rolleyes2:

If he is on the latest dash I don't think he can get his CPU key with just the nand x

You're correct - Nand-X and coolrunner for key retrieval....if the Nand-X was enough on it's own.....there would be NOBODY with buggered xboxes that have no keys lol
You guys are right I got ahead of myself thinking about the strip-out

I'll edit my post to reflect this mis-information....thanks for not flaming me though I probably deserve to be

I wanna do the same thing on an extra slim, can you get the DVD Key out of the NAND? I've heard you can only view the DVD Key while booting homebrew?

EDIT: nvm, thank you for clarifying. :)
