You shouldn't need to mess with the OSIG with RGH consoles, so try what's suggested first before playing with the KV.
Hey guys , ok i`ve been through the tut and flashed the drive succesfully with LTPlus-0272-v3.0 firmware, dumped the nand with flash360 used that to build a new nand with the disable fcrt ticked . flashed it back , console working , but drive not . you think i need to change the KV to "no drive"??

Martin , just so you know , you were right i didnt need to mess with the osig , i made a school boy error and put in my cpu key instead of my dvd key ....doh , lol . Once i realised , changed it , and reflashed we are now all good . Console working and playing games like a good`n ....thank for all your help !!! all of you !

I didn't specify a firmware version as it shouldn't matter, since NOFCRT is being implementedyou can ONLY do this if you flash 0272 fw to the drive
0225 fw cannot be manual spoofed (or lizfixed) whatsoever
if you choose to use 0272 fw, once again nofcrt patches
