How would I go about restoring my switch to pure vanilla state if I choose to ever go back to OFW ... I have a pure NAND backup but I’m unsure of how reliable this method is... for example if I restore back to Vanilla OFW would I still be in risk of being banned due modification of the OS in any way or is it a fresh slate that doesn’t leave any traces behind ..?

If it does leave trace how do I go about removing them?

Also if I were to ever lose my NAND backup does this mean im never going to be able to go back to vanilla OFW ??

While it's not a recommended practice unless absolutely necessary and assuming your back up is a clean nand of the same FW, you would just boot to the SX Bootloader or hekate, which ever you used, and just do restore.

Alright and once I’ve restored I won’t have to worry about being banned?
