i am testing the continuity on spots of my lpc rebuild due to fragging. In the picture, should the points i have connected with black lines show continuity? or should it only be the points that have a line on the lpc board connecting them? thanks

i am not saying you did a terrible job, but it seems you got too excited about this.the lpc rebuild is hard but you need to take your time, and you should desoulder everything and redo everything. the same thing happened to me, excpt thr bad soldering. but you eill get it soon:)

well the thing is that it was working perfectly and all of a sudden i got this fragging problem. I just desoldered the lpc and re did it all, but still the same problem. Can you guys tell me what points/pins to check with a voltmeter to make sure the solder is correctly in place? What pins should show continuity and which should not? thanks

did it start fraging before you flash a bios to chip or after
if it started fraging out of the blue then check all of your soldering
just look at pics again look like you did not remove pin 6
and the soldering on pins 1 3 5 are a poor solder (cold solder points)

here what it should look like
