Questions about Drive Replacement and Reflashing

Hi guys just a few questions

Ok so my Liteon has just decided to stop working (Did the pot tweek a few weeks ago and it fixed it but its a no go this time)

I just want to know about replacing my dead liteon with another liteon drive

I have already dumped my Dummy.bin ect from my old drive.

So is it basicly just like flashing the drive with jungleflasher then after it is spoofed will i be able to upgrade it with Liteon 3.0?

Reason im asking is i have never just changed the drive over or spoofed any drives .But i have flashed many times before with Jungleflasher.

Also my old drives Firmware/key/dummy.bin is pre 13141 but the console im using is on dash 14719 not shore if that makes any difference.

Well first off it's cheaper to get a new laser if you're already buying a new drive. That said, you don't have to spoof if you're going Lite-On to Lite-On, load your old files, select LT+3 as your target, JF will copy your key, all post-13146 phat Lite-Ons are the same firmware, so just flash LT3 and you're done with the new drive, no need to get keys or anything off it first.

Thanks for the reply man.

But my old files are pre 13141 not post both the old drive and the new one (stock firmware) are Liteon 74850C. (The console im using is on the latest dash tho 14719)

So does that make any difference atall just making shore before i go ahead and flash it.

Nope, your old files are only needed for the DVD key, nothing else. JF will pull the key for you, put it into the LT+3 firmware file, and you'll be good to go on the latest dashboard.
