Question's about the do's and dont's of flashing your dvd drive.

I was wondering after I flashed my dvd drive to play my back-up game's; if I'll have to flash back to the original key before updating my console?

Or, can I just leave it be without flashing it back and just update my console? What affect would that have?

You should always revert back to stock drive firmware before accepting a dashboard update (once deemed safe by c4eva of course).

I'm not sure yet. I'm going to have to unlock it to see. It's a 2010 slim 250gb model, so it's not that new. I know it's not a hitachi, because it look's like a lite-on. It could be
4S by the look's of it.
