i have my orig.bin, but where to i put it on my boot drive to restore??. when it backed up the original it went into the BACKUPS/1234567/12345 directory, and the hacked.bin went there also. do i just leave it there, and type the samorig 1234567 12345 command, or do i put it at the root of the drive??? and since i have my hacked.bin, do i have to do the samread command again, then samhack, or can i just do samhack?? any help would be appreciated.

no i already know how to restore by using the samorig command, i was just wondering if you had to do samread again even after you already have a hacked.bin, or if you could just go straight to the samhack command. and where does the orig.bin and hacked.bin go on your drive for reflashing?? do they just stay at the BACKUPS directory, or do you move them to the root of the drive??

You do not need to use samread since you have your original and hacked images. All you need to do is type the following from your directory that contains samread/samhack. Type:

mtkflash w /m /sata backups/1234567/12345/orig.bin

That will restore your firmware.

You need to use the enable 0800 disc or the bad flash method if you have newer xtreme firmware.
